Ok so here is the skinny. Art is supported by the community so I am asking the community to help support the pursuit of art.
I am
trying to find 1,578 people to donate $1 to my art fund raiser. All
proceeds will go to me in order to help me buy this
lens and a UV filter to protect it with.
Why should you give me $1 and not someone else, perhaps selling a
homeless paper on a side walk or put it into a can for the
Aids Foundation? I have no good reason. Matter of fact, I recommend you
do donate to thoes funds over
donating that dollar here. The only thing I can promise you is that you
are
buying honest to god hope for one person. That one person, me, is
telling you
exactly where the money is going and exactly what it is being used for.
Remember that thing you really wanted but could never have? Well, this is mine.
There is only one thing I want and I would love help to raise money to
get it.
I promise, in return, to donate back to the community through my
photographs; be it helping with promotional pictures for a local
performance
art troupe, helping another artist make pictures for their
website, or
giving shots to models for their portfolio. However I can help give
back what you gave to me, by way of supporting another artists,
is somthing I will be more than
happy to help donate my time as well as passing on the little hope you
gave to me.
